Using retinol correctly = better results, less irritation. Here’s your nightly glow-up plan:
Step 1: Cleanse & Prep
Start with freshly cleansed, dry skin. If you use toners or serums, apply those first. HydraRetin goes after your serums and before your moisturiser.
Step 2: Swipe the Stick
Gently swipe the balm over your face and neck, focusing on areas like your forehead, cheeks, chin, and smile lines. Avoid the eye area, eyelids, and lips. A little goes a long way — no need to overdo it.
Step 3: Lock It In
Follow with your favourite gentle moisturiser to help seal in hydration and further reduce any risk of dryness.
Step 4: Start Slow, Glow Steady
New to retinol? Start with 2–3 times per week, ideally at night. Let your skin adjust over time. If all is going well, gradually increase to every other night or nightly use.
Step 5: Don’t Forget SPF
Retinol can increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. Always apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ the morning after to protect your skin and keep that glow safe.
Storage Tip:
Keep your HydraRetin stick in a cool, dry place below 23°C. Pop it in the fridge if you like — it’ll feel amazing on your skin.
Safety First (But Not Scary)
Not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Always patch test before full use — especially if you have sensitive skin.
Avoid using with other retinoids (like retinoic acid or retinol serums).
If irritation, dryness, or discomfort occurs, pause use and let your skin reset.
Avoid direct contact with eyes. If it gets in there, rinse thoroughly with water.
